We believe in serving the community that believes in us. We are deeply committed to supporting organizations and ideas that elevate our city and citizens.

You might ask why a property management company is so heavily engaged in issues that don’t tie to our day-to-day work. We would reply with, why not? Housing is where we hang our hat but we know our visibility, discipline, and hard work can be a valuable asset to organizations that need a lift.


We're proud to host our now famous annual casino night to support federally qualified health center, La Clinica del Pueblo. We organized food delivery for frontline workers during the pandemic; supporting struggling local restaurants. Our collaboration spaces at 1508 U Street and 87 Florida Ave have been offered early and often to nonprofits to convene and gather. Flocksters can be seen on our famed urban trash walks (always full of surprises) and each and every team member is given the time and space to make meaningful contributions to causes that matter. Our staff and residents have worked on neighborhood clean-ups, among numerous other projects from board membership to convening staff to put together back-to-school backpacks for kids living in shelters. Giving back is in the budget at Flock.
